It has been a long time since our last blog post, so let's get caught up. Two weekends ago, Amita hit some big milestones. She finally figured out that she can suck her thumb and she has been practicing that skill often. For now, it seems that only her right thumb is tasty, but she may choose to move on to the left one someday too. That same weekend, she also managed to roll over three times! The first two attempts we just stared in wonder... then, like the proud parents we are, we grabbed the camera for the third time.
Amita had a pretty good week last week, although she got a little bit sick at daycare on Wednesday. Unfortunately for us, her "a little bit sick" translates into sheer misery for Aaron and I when we catch it. So both of us battled something similar to flu all weekend (if you notice the time of this post, you'll see that I'm still battling it at home on a Monday - ugh!). But the good news is that Amita remains healthy and happy as she continues to grow. What a blessing!
